Private practice, Stone, Pigman, Walther, Wittmann & Hutchinson in New Orleans (1982-86).

Joined the Loyola faculty in 1986.

Courses: current concentration on contract, commercial law, and comparative law. Have also taught family law (especially matrimonial & community property)

Have lectured at the Université de Lyon III (Jean Moulin) since 1991, on several topics: family law, marital property, constitutional law. Have also lectured at the Université de Paris V (René Descartes) (contracts). Consultant for United States Information Service, Madagascar (1997).

Member, American Law Institute (active Members Consultative Groups: Remedies, Agency).

Active Louisiana State Law Institute Committees: transaction & compromise. Past LSLI committees: sales; mandate; obligations arising without agreement (quasi-contract).
