First Annual Bowl-O-Contendere 

Purpose

This event serves as our principle fundraiser for the academic year and it provides exposure to lawyers, judges, and business professionals throughout the New Orleans and surrounding areas.

The Trial Advocacy Program is a non-profit organization from Loyola University College of Law that fully funds student mock trial competition teams. After selecting and coaching only the best advocates, these teams compete against other top ranked law schools throughout the country. In recent years, Loyola's Trial Ad Program has enjoyed success in numerous competitions, including placing 1st at the Quinnipiac Trial Advocacy Competition and as a semi-finalist at the Texas Young Lawyer’s Association Trial Advocacy Competition. With these wins, we secured a spot in the prestigious ABA National Criminal Justice Trial Competition and placed 3rd overall. Our program is one of the most demanding and respected student trial advocacy programs in the country.
